A Message from the CEO

From Donut Shops to Dominating Customer Acquisition

For me, opportunity represents the chance to create meaningful change—for individuals, businesses, and entire communities. My journey began with inspiration from my parents, first-generation Cambodian immigrants who escaped the hardships of a refugee camp to build a better life in Orange County. They opened a Mission Donuts franchise, persevering through challenges like the 2008 financial crisis, and showed me the power of resilience, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Watching my parents build something from nothing planted the seeds of ambition in me. In 2009, I took the leap from the family business into sales, eager to gain real-world experience and forge my own path. I began as a sales representative in big-box retailers, selling DIRECTV. It was there that I discovered my passion for direct marketing and saw firsthand how effective sales strategies could drive results.

I didn’t stop there. I helped grow the organization I worked for, taking a small team of 50 employees and expanding it to over 2,000+ employees nationwide. I traveled across the country, duplicating the big-box retailer sales model for brands like DIRECTV and Vonage, and helped scale their customer acquisition operations to remarkable heights.

In 2015, I founded InstantSource to combine my expertise in direct marketing with my passion for helping businesses grow. My goal was to create a company that could help others scale, just as I had done. Over the years, we thrived, building sales teams, driving customer acquisition, and delivering impactful results for our clients.

But in 2020, the world changed. Like many businesses, InstantSource faced challenges that threatened its future. Rather than giving in, I saw this as an opportunity to evolve. I immersed myself in digital marketing, learning how to use paid traffic, targeted ads, and online strategies to drive growth. This pivotal moment allowed me to combine the strengths of direct marketing with the power of digital marketing, creating a comprehensive customer acquisition solution.
